Not a great song

But really catchy. I like the tune a lot even though it's not too great. Sounds like something that I would find in a nintendo game LOL. 9/10 here.

PuffballsUnited responds:

It's gonna be stuck in my head ALLLLLL day! :P I'm glad it sounds like it would be in a game, especially one by Nintendo! :) Thanks!

I saw the title and thought...

Stephen Melilo LOL. It's alright. Nothing really special though.

KroweMusic responds:

I made it in like 5 minutes so its ok lol :P

I agree with the previous review

Really boring. Though it is a loop, it sounds really uninteresting to me.

Not bad

I would add a part for a drum break though so you can really give it some life rather than sticking to a conservative drum beat that always feels like it's holding back.

haywirehaywire responds:

conservative drumbeat? im not sure what your trying to say.....

Alright song

But way too long for my tastes. Pretty repetitive throughout and I'm not a real fan of the drumbeat. Still not bad so I'll give it a 6.

Blizzaine responds:

Cool,

Don't even bother reading the authors comments

You're awesome!

Keep it up.

LOL you spelled "genius" wrong

Still not to fond of the actual song. If it was leaning more to an ambient feel, then it would probably better but the instruments point more to techno or just modern day randomness.

DjSquanto responds:

thats the point, it means an idiot

Not a real fan

Just repeats over and over in a monotonous style with barely any change to the song at all throughout. Some people may like that, but I honestly look for diversity in music.

Overpowering instruments

The instrumentation is way too loud and overpowers the vocals. Really takes away from the song in that aspect. Other than that this might make a good club song LOL

NeuralFusion responds:

its because of the quality 128. sounds shit load better 320

Good song overall

Sounds like a fanfare style piece to me. I think it would have been good if you added harmony or supporting chords via the synth brass instead of restricting it to monophonic meoldy the whole piece. Still a good song worth listening to. If you reupload with a stronger feel, I'll be happy to review again.

Bobkabilla responds:

I appreciate your feedback! I'll try to give it a less monophonic feel next time.

Clap is overpowering D:

Seriously it was way too strong for my tastes. The song itself is pretty good and would make a good club mix. Also why does the beat start to desynchronize later on in the piece? That really threw me off.

ShadowsOfLight responds:

Yeah I don't know why I did that. Mixing with Virtual DJ, whilst using my melody and leads and all, Was a bit tough running on almost no sleep haha but I got it done just a little rough around the edges.

Club version will not have a lot of the beats you hear, it'll be a lot more trance-ish and upbeat. Which will be released some time next week. I'm mainly a web designer haha here's the "band" site: http://thegenreless.thestreetgods.com hosted via my car club site.

In the club mix it'll have it will all be in sync. It'll be a lot easier to control the club mix then this slower one, I'm used to fast pace.

Which part was the most out of sync do you believe? I know towards the end there's a part where the vocals kick in again out of sync.

Thanks for voting / reviewing!
