Not bad
But the one synth in the beginning was pretty harsh to the ear. Didn't match the rest of the song. I'd either drop the volume or replace it altogether. One thing though. I'd upload an abridged version as this one was pretty long :P

I really appreciate the feedback! The synth you are referring to, is it the choral organ or the glissando-y one? I'd like to fix it. As for the abridged version, I dont know if I can do that. I was constantly living in fear of making this too long. I tried ending it at 3 minutes but couldnt manage to make it flow. stuck with the 5 minutes sorry.

Nice preview
But who/what is Sariana? :P
It's actually a fairly long story. The song explains it good enough. You can hear the full demo version at my myspace.
Decent
Has a lot of room to expand though. For example, the intro melody is a perfect melody for a pedal tone in the bass (instrument up to you), and harmonies/countermelodies look to be strong possibilities.
I agree. The melody is good and all, but I didn't fill it out like I needed to. Thank you for your review! :)
Nice song
You can really feel the strife of the kid in question. Thing is that this is actually quite typical these days especially among high school teenagers. These are actually my favorite kinds of songs. Lyrics kinda remind me of One by Mr Amazing XS but more pessimistic rather than inspirational.
@Codare: It's not about just saying stuff about sex drugs and violence. It's about the issued going on every day that no one chooses to acknowledge so the only way that people can get these issues noticed is through the arts. You really need to listen to the songs rather than just listening to a few words you don't like and judging. Though there are artists (especially in mainstream rap) that are all just about "bragging" about said sex drugs and violence, this is not that kind of music at all.
Ya, he seems a little... dumb. :) Thanks for the review
Nice clashing notes
I would recommend using a different piano voice though. It just doesn't feel like it fits this song. A more dark feel would probably do it more justice. Also lower bass notes would be good during those little runs you have at about 1:50
Thank you for your constructive criticism. You're right, the piano does sound a bit too light for the piece. :)
Hmmm
Actually kinda reminds me of a more techno-y Batman song minus the running strings. Maybe even Pirates of the Caribbean. Either way sounds like movie music+drums :P
I wish this was as good as movie music.
Pretty nice
Though I feel at times that the piano is being muffled out by the drums. They just seem too loud at points though. But the pedal tone was a nice effect that I've not seen in a while. I'll give this a 9.
Yea, it may be cause mastering is not perfect. Thanks for a review
Whoa WTF happened?
Seriously you got some major desync action going on there between the instruments and the drums. I think you should look into that ASAP.
haha you're funny.
and you're wrong. its just slow attack on strings. it's all in time.
l2p or gtfo
Nice try
Not that good though. Sounds like chords with inversions here and there and a really basic drum beat. Really wouldn't make a good hip hop song. I wouldn't suggest trying to touch this one up. Pack up and start anew and try to be more creative next time.
I dont know what you are talking about... it was gonna be a sad song and with a advanced drum beat it wouldnt sound sad at all just weird
I think you mean...
Korobeiniki remix. The remix itself is alright but could be better. It was a nice attempt though. I would suggest trying to make it more complex rather than making it so linear. Here's an example http://www.youtube.c om/watch?v=zt71kfLM6io (take out the space).
sweet dude. i appreciate this! thanks!
