[Epona's Theme [OoT]]

Pretty good

But for slow songs like these, I think it's actually to bring out moving basslines. It gives it that more emotional feel. Where the rendition you have is more like a lullaby, making a semi-powerful moving bass would just add to the dramaticness of the piece making it feel more like there's heart in it I think.

I was expecting a drum beat

To come in at around :45 or so. A bit disappointed that it was left plain but since it's still a demo I'll give you the benefit of the doubt.

Not really modern either. Something in the middle to my ears. Incorporates the best of both worlds IMO. Scoring this as a 9.

UBER LONG

Still a decent song. If not for the length, I'd have given it a higher score. Still the song is alright (quite fond of the tune around 4:12). Anyway I try to make it a point to listen to as much of a song as I can before making a review and that's why songs over 4 minutes tend to annoy me cause then I lose time that I could be using to review other songs. Still good song, hope you make more (hopefully under 4 minutes LOL)

Though I think the violins could use some tuning. BTW did you play these separately and edit them together or did you get a band to play this for you?

I played all the instruments separately (I wish I had a band), and to give it more of a haunting sound i meant for the violins to be slightly off each other.

Drums are overpowering.

I've said this time and time again with songs here on NG. If I have to listen for the melody something is usually wrong. Still this is actually a pretty good song (despite blaring drums). I'm gonna say a 9 here.

And @ your comments: How do you expect us to help with lyrics if all you're giving us is one part of the song? What about the hook and the chorus? And a bridge if you're planning on having one?

Like the small amount of polyphony...

But as a hip hop song, it could use a lot more. Try adding a bit more to this song.

But really catchy. I like the tune a lot even though it's not too great. Sounds like something that I would find in a nintendo game LOL. 9/10 here.
